Dong Phuong meat pastries. So good! The green one and the one to the left have the same ingredients (pork sausage, boiled egg, and something else ?). Not like anything we've ever had before. Delicious! The dough was slightly sweet, which really brings out the flavor of the pork. The bottom two were pork with onions (L) and pork with water chestnuts (R). Lots of piggies made the ultimate sacrifice, but we think it was worth it.
The sandwich counter at Dong Phuong. We got the grilled pork. It had carrots, cilantro, cucumber, some kind of pate' spread with a creamy yellow spread. No idea what these were, but it was CRAZY good. Had a nice spicy kick to it. Their fresh-made French bread is fantastic, btw. The line for this place was LONG.
